Hi all.. After a disasterous week, and having to pay out £100 for a new door lock, £60 for new front arms and bushes and then £75 on my excess to have my windscreen replaced... My heater fan has now stopped working.

It was working fine a couple of days ago, and had the new windscreen fitted today and now it doesn't want to work... It won't work on any of the 4 settings, checked all the fuses and nothing is blown!

Any ideas? It's chilly out and I like my warmth!

    Cheers all!

Just been out double checking everything... There is no sound from the heater motor. Is there a relay for the heater fan?

Could this have been caused by the windscreen fitter? Seems awfully coincidental...

Manual with the twistable controls and it does have the AC button and recirculate button. When i press the recirculate button i can hear a "motor shutting a vent". The AC has never worked since I've owned the car.

    Cheers!

It's on the difficult side of impossible for even the most clumsy of windscreen fitters to damage the heater, all of which is tucked away under the dash.
Look under tha glovebox (you''l have to pull a thin sheet of foam rubber away) and at the very outside near the base of the A pillar you should see a four pin connector connector with four thickish wires going into it,this goes to the resistor pack that controls the fan speed and if it gets unplugged it would stop the fan from working at any speed.
