Bit of a weird one, but does anyone know if there is any difference between caliper carriers from a V6 4-Mo / S3 & caliper carriers from a TT?

    The V6 4-Mo / S3 part number is 2 x 8N0 615 425 B

    The TT part numbers are 1 x 8N0 615 425 E & 1 x 8N0 615 426 A

Why does the TT have two different part numbers & the 4-Mo/S3 has two of the same part numbers?

Are they different in anyway at all & will one lot fit on a MK4 Golf without spacers?

I only ask as im looking for parts for my brake conversion & want to know what im looking for & what will & wont fit!

    Thanks.

Not sure for certain but maybe its because they use different offset disks maybe?  Completely guessing here tbh.

Just checked ETKA and it looks like the TT numbers match the ones for my Bora, says the orignal ones have been discontinued and replaced with the same part number as the TT ones Yes

     TT is FWD

    4mo is 4motion or AWD

that may explain the different p/n;s

im pretty sure you want a set of 256mm carriers from a TT or anni and i think some V5s had them to!!

Autowindows / Miles to Empty / Key Programming / Cluster swaps / Vagcom ...etc. East London / West London and Southampton dubber to the rescue!!

    R44MS_K:

     TT is FWD

Only 150bhp ones were, the rest are 4WD (Haldex) the same system as on the VW's.

I think they are probably the same, is just weird why there are two differnent part numbers.

From what i can see, the discs  & calipers are the same, its just the carriers that are different.

The only think i can think is that the TT ones are sided for some reason?

What version of ETKA do you have?  Just that mine lists the same as the TT carriers as I said above...

I work for Audi & looked them up on the latest version of ETKA. Its a pain when parts have multiple supersessions as we might both be looking at the same part but VW keep changing the part numbers every 5 mins!

I swear its all the same parts!

I was going to buy my brake upgrade from work, but then i started to add up the cost of the parts. Lets just say i will have to work for free for a while! Surprise

Well i wasnt really surprise, its just gonna be cheaper finding second hand parts!

The 4-Mo & R32 seem to be the same carriers, so ill prob just go for those & buy a spacer kit just in case i need one.
