can anybody help me pin down what the external body difference in the last shape Audi S6 & RS6 were?

I can see that the front and rear bumpers are different and there is a different grille and a tailgate roof spoiler.

Is it simply the 19 inch wheels on the RS that make it look SO wide or are the arches wider.

I guess that it is a bit lower too?

just thinking that an RS bodied S would be quite nice

the RS4 and RS6 have a wider body

as in teh wheel arches are streched a few inches.

i have seen a FULL kit for sale for about 15-20K to convert a normal audi shape into an RS shape with all parts required to do it with bumpers and such but to be honest to go that far i would get the real deal before spending that sort of money.

 oooo, no! thought those arches looked a bit wider. As you say, for £15k you can buy an RS6.

D'ya think that just the bumpers would fit on to the regular wings? The standard job looks a bit pathetic really.

i am not 100% sure if it would fit but i think the front of teh wings are the same and just flaired out more so i cant see why it wil not fit.

 digging a bit deeper seems to reveal that the V8 versions of the A6 had different front ends and that the S6 also had flared arches...

just have to get one and find out
